GAMBIA Information and communication minister of outgoing President Yahya Jammeh
has fled the country.
The reason/s for his leaving the country is unknown but unconfirmed
reports has it that Mr. Bojang is among the majority of Gambians who are not in
support of Jammeh’s decision to appealed the December 1st
presidential election which was won by real estate developer Adama Barrow. Barely
10 days to the inauguration of President Elect Adama Barrow. Sheriff Bojang, a
former newspaper editor is the first minister from Jammeh’s regime to defect
and flee Gambia. Mr Bojang is expected to officially release a statement about
his defection from his temporary base in Dakar.
