GAMBIA’S MOST CAP FOOTBALLER ABDOU JAMMEH SIGN IN QATARI PROFESSIONAL LEAGUE.




Gambia Senior scorpion’s former Captain Abdou Jammeh alias T.Boy has joined Qatari professional league side, Al Shamal Sports Club the player announced on his official Facebook page.

The veteran skipper who spend almost two years in Finland with Finnish Premier Division (Veikkausliiga) side, Rovaniemi Palloseura (Rops) since 2015, joined the Qatari outfit on a 6 months deal with an option for another year.
Abdou Jammeh who is the Gambia’s most cap soccer player with more than 35 appearance will be going back for his third spell in the region, having formerly played in Kuwait with Kazma Sporting Club for three seasons between 2011 and 2013 and later joined Kuwaiti side Al Fahaheel, from where he joined Rops in Finland.
Al-Shamal is a primiere division team plying its trade in the top division of Qatari football and are currently sitting 6th on the table with 17 points to show for, having lost three out of their opening ten games, drawing two and won five, including the 2-1 victory in their last game against Al Gharafa II, last Thursday. QSL clubs are limited to four foreign professionals, with not more than three on the pitch at any given game, with the fourth on the bench per squad
