UN OFFICE IN BANJUL TO EVACUATE STAFFS TO DAKAR

Gambia ...United Nations office in Banjul will evacuate non-essential staffs to Dakar, a senior UN official told our sources in Banjul.
The UN decision to evacuate its staff to Dakar is as a result of fragile political crisis in Banjul. UN says Jammeh refusal to step down will further put Gambia into brink of war and warn Jammeh must step down or face possible ECOWAS military offensive.

Meanwhile, scores of Gambians in urban towns are fleeing to rural Gambia and some to Senegal as uncertainty of the political stalemate shows no sign of abating amid Jammeh refusal to step down.
