The Gambia (Sports) In what could be described as an intensive double hour football clinic
been organised by Nda Mariam Jagne Foundation in partnership with YOUR CHANGE
FOR A CHANGE (YCFaC) recently organize a day long coaching clinic in the
Village of Kafuta West Coast Region.
The annual clinic which was in a form of introducing the Tomorrow's Stars
ranging from the age of 10 to 16 years on the basics of the football game led
by top notch Gambian football professional players among them Pa Modou Jagne,
Jack Jagne, Dawda Ngum, Momodou Futty Danso and Momodou Zico Ceesay among
others.
The event took place at the Kafuta
main football grown and was also witnessed by a cross section of the people of
the Village both men and women were in attendance. At the climax of the
sessions, questions and answer sessions were each participants were ask
questions and the winners were given prizes by the foundation.
Speaking at the closing Ceremony the YCFaC Boss Dr Saikou Omar Saidy
thanked the foundation for the initiative and called upon more partnerships of this
kind. He however took time to speak at length at what his Organisation does and
most especially success registered over the years. The volunteers also donated
football gears to all the participants and the Football committee of Kafuta
Village.
The Kafuta Sports Association also certified YCFaC and individuals for
the show of support.
